Charming property next to an amazing trail along the coast. We walked on the trail to Mavericks (there is a section that says "Road Closed" but that is regarding cars and it is open to hikers). You can't see the ocean from the hotel, but the view of the garden and trees is very relaxing. It's also a very easy and quick walk for ocean views. Really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast that can be brought to your room. Also there is complimentary bottled water, soda, coffee and tea available in the lobby at all times. We walked to the Moss Distillery for dinner. Stacey who checked us in was very helpful and told us about the trails and gave us tips. The other staff members we encountered were also very friendly.

Where to begin. Beautiful architecture, beautiful gardens, beautiful common areas, wonderful staff, more than expected breakfast/amenities, fireplace in our room, walk to the beach absolutely beautiful, tidal pools in Seal Cove breathtaking, sunset breathtaking, wine hour at end of day with seriously quality wines - just, where to begin. I feel so grateful they had a last minute room and we were able to enjoy the property. Only 30 minutes from SFO so we could enjoy the coast, yet get to our flight with ease. Just magical all around. Close to many really good restaurants. Walking paths along the sea just special. We plan a 5 day stay on our next visit. So much to enjoy.

A secluded inn nestled near the most lovely cypress groves. A short easy walk places you right about the seals that give this place its name. Stacy was delightful, so welcoming and kind and amenities galore. Free cookies on arrival. Wine served early evening and complementary sodas downstairs and on our 2nd floor right down the hall and coffee anytime in the lobby. Breakfast choices are abundant and you can dine in your room or downstairs. The room itself is lovely and comfortable with a cozy gas fireplace and ocean sounds drifting in.

The people who run the Inn are truely wonderful. The location is also amazing. Right next to the beach, and from walking distance from a great restaurant. The rooms are spacious, and having a small terrace is great to enjoy the pretty garden. You have little squirls, rabits and birds just a couple of meters away. The breakfast is almost all home made, with consideration of the envirnment, and also the bath supplies were made by locals and smelled fantastic.

Renée

The room was as described on website which has not always been my experience. The staff( Sharon and Mary) were helpful and accommodating. We were treated as family. The inn was close to a preserve so we had walking trails in close proximity. There were several restaurants within a few miles to choose from . My mother in law really appreciated the fireplace and access to beverages when desired . The beds slept well .
